Lit, Semi-Lit, and Illit! The Pros and Cons.

What Kind of RPer Are You?

Do you constantly fact check? Do you pull a sword from a dead rabbit's hat? Do you choose realism, or randomosity?
So, what kind of RPer are you?

Lit

Literates are for complete and utter realism. I don't mean this in the normal sense, as in RPing real world situations instead of fantasy, but, rather, realistic RPing across all genres. These RPers fact check, and study up on the people and the places of the setting they'll be RPing in. These RPers are the most likely to start an argument over whether the Ryo was still used in Japan by 1875 (it wasn't by 1870, the year the yen was introduced).
Lits may want to look out for Anachronist as a suitable fellow RPer on the board.

Illit

Illiterates, on the other hand, have no care for rules, or fact checking, or even grammar at times. Many RPers look down on Illits as 'newbies,' but I disagree. An illit can be a great RPing partner in the right situation, especially when it comes to RPs of the comedy genre. Oh jeez. Illits can be quite fun to RP with if you're willing to put aside reason and just RP whatever comes to mind. These RPers are the most likely to make chickens drop from the sky.
Illits may want to look out for TWIGLET as a suitable fellow RPer on the board.

Semi-Lit

Semi-Literates are the balance; they will seek for some amount of realism but won't let interesting opportunities fly by simply for that realism. They will fact check and research, but not for every single detail, and are willing to make things up as they go along. They are willing to bend the rules--Not follow them stringently, as with the Lits, but not completely break them, either, as with the Illits.
Semi-Lits may want to look out for Angrite or KatanokiChaos as suitable fellow RPers on the board.
