A Short Blib on Sex

That Opening Bit

Where do I start?

Sexuality within RPGs can be approached in many different ways. Some choose to simply Skip Ahead to avoid writing out sex scenes. Others attempt watered down versions of sexual acts, which usually only works if one character's merely walking in on those performing, and not seeing the complete details. Finally, there are Rpers that go into full detail. Be wary of randomly doing this with a person you don't want to scare off. Just in case.

For ease of use, I'll divide this section into parts.

Descriptors are the Key

Who the hell knows how many positions for sex there are? Well, not me. And even if I did, I'm way too lazy to type them all out. So, what is this section about? Wording.

Rough? Gentle? Passionate? Emotionless? Lustful? Romantic? Forceful? Submissive? No two sex acts are the same. The normally kind boy that usually is gentle in bed might be in a rough mood one day. The normally independent teen could desire to be controlled for once.

So what does this have to do with wording? A lot. Penetrated, or merged? If you ask me, penetrated sounds more violent and painful than merged, which sounds rather eventual and romantic in comparison. Took? Made love to? Fucked? Taking someone sounds much more forced than making love, but fucked definitely the roughest word of the three, and is, mostly, used only in lustful situations.

The point I'm trying to make is that it's not the act itself, but how you word it. The only way your partner will understand such a physical thing through intellectual text is through well used, image inducing descriptors.
