Epsilon: A Full Length Novel (Sort Of)
Epsilon: Part One of Three
Epsilon
Sorry that there are no skips to specific chapters. I screwed up the chapter numberings and whatnot, so until I fix that, it'll remain that way. >_< Sorry!
The Interminable Ramble Explanation
Epsilon began as a dream. Perhaps it was a bit too much caffiene, perhaps it was a bit too much Geometry Wars. Perhaps it was both. All I know for sure is that one morning, I woke up, blinked a few times, and wondered if my unconscious had gone insane.
However, at the same time, I began to think to myself... Hey! War! Kidnapping! Possible character death (which I must decide upon)! And SECKS. Sounds like fun to write, why don't I do that for my NaNoWriMo?
I'd never done NaNo before. I didn't know what I was getting into. But after thirty days of insane, caffiene driven writing, I had before me a finally finished, 50,000 word novel. It was the first extended length project I'd actually finished, and I gave myself some serious back patting afterwards. (And a few scowls at a certain friend who got a bit over 20,000. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! *bares fangs*)
Now, as for the novel? War? Yes. Kidnapping? Sort of. Character death? READ and stop looking for spoilers. Secks? Little to none, considering me. I'm half proud, half abashed, and half very, very scared. If that's possible. No making fun of me, ANGRITE! JOHN! PAT! >_<
And now, upon finishing that long-winded lecture, we come to the novel.
A Few Liner Notes
Naming. Epsilon is only a work-in-progress name. It will be the name of the first novel. The name of the second, in all likelyhood, will be Zion. Or perhaps the third. But most likely the second. x_x I'm confusing myself.
Kyou. Kyou is an awesome frakking guy. He is AWESOME. DO NOT DOUBT HIS AWESOME. Because he is the ultimate mother fucker. He will ruin your shit.
BSG? Yes, that was BSG speak up there (frak). No, Epsilon is not based off Battlestar Galactica. It came to me in a fucked up dream about Geometry Wars. Again, a mix of high caffiene intake and gameplay may have been to blame.
