What is Role Play HQ?

Online Text-Based Role Playing Game: A game in which the participants assume roles, often as fantasy characters such as heroes or elves, in a scenario that develops as the game progresses. In this format, it is played online using a solely text-based interface such as TELNET, an internet forum, or in a chat. Often shortened to OTBRPG or simply Role Playing.

Simply put, Role Play HQ is the ultimate source for all your Role Playing needs. With tutorials, a writer's section and, of course, role playing, Role Play dotNet seeks to be the best OTB site on the internet.

Oh. Another Role Playing board. Can't join, I'm probably already miles behind.

Not so! With Role Play dotNet has come an innovation. It's called a forum.
... Kidding, yet not. Role Play dotNet's message board (where most RPing goes down) has a separate forum just for new RPGs, where it's easy to quickly read through the small amount of posts and join. When any RPG has more than 100 posts, it will be moved to the appropriate forum, and a link left behind in a topic.

Sounds cool. How do I sign up?

To read tutorials and look at what's posted up in the Writer's Corner, just click the appropriate link on the right side. However, to join RPGs and submit to the Writer's Corner, please register on the message board.
